Pillage: Home

This is what the wall looked like (only all the way around in a rectangle) when Beck uses his new plant growing gift
While things at school are bad, what Beck finds out about his new home aren't to different either. Like usual the staff is very nice to him, but they really enforce the rules they have. One time Beck tried to go explore into the back yard, but he was caught by the grounds keeper, and Millie wasn't very happy with Beck for disobeying them. The first time Beck goes into the back yard, he doesn't find very much. Later, he and Milo (his friend) go search farther out and discovered a giant wall in the woods titled "Conservatory." There is no main entrance, but something very surprising happens later, but there is another issue to deal with. Beck is awake one night and sees a strange light that keeps moving backwards, so he decides to go investigate. He finds that the light is behind a locked door, so he stops there, BUT he finds  a strange hole in the wall, and relizes that it leads to a basement that he has heard rumors of. Earlier in the story, Beck is told that there was a basement in the house, but it was buried in due to the fact that his uncle Aarreon is crazy. Beck still looks for it for awhile, and then he comes across it when he finds the hole in the wall. He then goes to his friends Milo and Kate to tell them what he found. Then later that night, all three of them go into the basement to see what they can find. While searching for something, they come across a strange book in the basement and decide to take it. Right about now in the stroy, the gang is back at the conservatory and Beck finds out that the strange plant attacks that have been going around his school is all because of him. He looks over to the conservatory wall and just says "grow," and like that, the ivy around it begins to grow. They use this to their advantage to climb over the wall and find out what is inside, and that is where I leave you 'till next time. What could behind that wall? Could it be why Beck can make plants grow?
